Sarbanes-Oxley Documentation

A Sarbanes-Oxley Client

Our client is a leading owner and operator of high-quality radio stations serving mid-size and smaller cities throughout the U.S. and the Caribbean. They are among the top five largest radio broadcasting companies in the United States based on the number of stations owned or operated.

The Problem

As a publicly-traded company, our client is required to document its internal policies and procedures in order to comply with Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. Additionally, the client had an urgent need to quickly train 65 managers on how to implement and follow the policies and procedures. The client had a mountain to move. They needed 50 top-priority policies and procedures written and approved in a six-week timeframe.

“I was amazed at how much high-quality work the ProEdit team was able to complete in such a short timeframe,” said MB, Corporate Controller. “We couldn’t have done it without them.”

ProEdit’s Sarbanes-Oxley Solution

ProEdit’s writers interviewed subject matter experts on all areas of their business—from payroll processing to capital expenditures, from the sales cycle to handling collection problems. A six-person team of writers, editors, and illustrators followed ProEdit’s Sarbanes-Oxley documentation process to complete the work. In six weeks, ProEdit developed 420 pages of documentation, including Visio workflows and step-by-step instructions.

But that’s not all. ProEdit also handled all of the printing, binding, tabs, cover art, and collating. The manuals were delivered on time and according to budget.
